Through his work Chapman asks how ‘resources [written], which are both
important and resistant to classification’ can be drawn more firmly into the
process of developing work.’ Through this text based work he creates new
narratives with such resources.
In keeping with Chapman’s process the design was dependant on a set of
rules, created and applied to the text allowing its form to develop independently.
